Are children invited?
We are hoping the adults can let loose and fully enjoy the day, hence we politely request that the big day is adult-only, we hope you understand.
Is photo taking and social media okay on the day?
During the Church ceremony itself we ask that phones are off and no photos taken, we want everyone to be present in our special moment with us, plus we have paid professionals for this! During the rest of the day however please feel free to take a many photos as you want and posting on social media is encouraged - we are big fans of documenting the memories! Please use the hashtag #gemrobwedding.

Can we throw confetti?
We will absolutely have a confetti throw outside the Church straight after the ceremony but please only use the biodegradable confetti that will be provided by us on the day as requested by the Priest.
Will food be served?
Yes lots! There will be canapés during the drinks reception followed by a three course wedding breakfast. Cake and further food will be provided in the evening plus some fun snacks! Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
Is there a bar at the venue?
Of course! There will be drinks provided throughout the day and a selection of drinks included as an open bar in the evening (until it is dry!) - lots of other drinks are available to purchase if you fancy something different. The bar accepts card only.
What is the Sunday event?
For those of you who are staying in the area we would love for you to join us for a post-wedding pub lunch and games on Sunday 8th, giving us a chance to reminisce and properly say goodbyes! We have booked a space and some food at The Golden Grove pub in Chertsey from 12pm (drop in whenever you can) so please do join us for a more chilled recovery day, all welcome!
What is the dress code?
We would love everyone to dress up for this special event! Formal attire, i.e. suits and ties for men and cocktail/evening wear for women, with hats encouraged!
Are plus ones invited?
We wish we could invite everyone but unfortunately we are limited on numbers and so only those named on the invitation are invited. Thank you for your understanding.
